NEW YORK CITY

Born and raised in Manhattan, Jacqueline Toboroff has always been drawn to and influenced by the energy, culture, and and diversity that make this city and its frenetic pace so conducive to creativity. Fortunate enough to have  travelled extensively both in America as well as abroad, all these experiences and visuals have also played a significant role in the expression of the Jacqueline Toboroff Jewelry collection.

After NYU and the four year BFA program at Parsons School of Design, Jacqueline Toboroff entered the field of fashion design, as her intended vocation. First working for others, then eventually having her own successful fashion brand, Gatée which was a high end line of knitwear embroidered with semi precious stones and other luxurious embellishments, jewelry seemed the natural evolution and the next move in her journey of expression and design.

The jewelry collection - necklaces, eyeglass chains, bracelets, and belts - is fashioned with semi precious stones, embroidered fabric, metals, and wood.  Each piece, hand made and one-of-a-kind, is given, from conception to completion, the utmost thought and attention to detail.  The jewelry is known for its organic nature, unique layout, distinctive colors, and textures and also recognized for the sizes and great variety of stones used such as Chrysophase, Citrine, Obsidian, Pyrite, Agate, Labradorite, Amethyst, Turquoise, as well as other natural substances such as Mother of Pearl, Amber, Shell and wood.

The Jacqueline Toboroff Jewelry Collection is not the staid, conventional look of the past, but rather a bolder, more modern approach to the elements. It attracts women of all ages giving it a broad market appeal. The Jacqueline Toboroff Jewelry is powerful and provocative; the customer confident, self-assured, determined, and not afraid of making a statement.
